Sunday School                          

The cornerstone of our children’s program is our Sunday school. In Sunday school our children learn about who God is and His love for us through Bible stories. Sunday school is provided for all ages beginning at age three thru the 5th grade. Children's church is a vital part of this program and the children are released during the Sunday morning service for ages K thru 4th. Pre-school children's church is for ages three thru pre-k. The first Sunday of the month is family day and our children K thru 4th remain in service with their families. This enables them to start the process of understanding respect and reverance for the worship time, preparing them for a life long journry in fellowship and worship of our Lord. We do have pre school childrens church every Sunday unless otherwise noted in the bulletin. 

 Caravan, our Christian scouting program, is for children in ages 4 through grade 5. Caravan meets on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8:00pm. The regular program follows the school year, vacations, and weather days.

Four–year–olds to Six-years-old and Not Yet in First Grade

Benson's Buddies is a weekly kids club designed for four–year–olds to Kinder.

Benson, the double-decker bus, escorts young kids on weekly trips as they discover the shopping mall, the zoo, the farm, school, and many other places.

Benson's Buddies teaches children about the world in which they live and lays the foundation for Christian living.

First–Sixth–Grade

Caravan is a weekly kids club committed to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth of children. It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience, and grow.

Caravan teaches children the Articles of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene, information about prominent figures in Nazarene church history, valuable skills to help them develop spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically.

 Quizzing

Children in grades 1-6 can participate in Bible Quizzing every Sunday night at 6 pm. Each year our children study specific Bible portions. Then, they meet several times a year with other Nazarene churches to compete in a Quiz Meet.  Our Children's Quizzing Director is Bobbi Lewis.

 Nursery

Our nursery is equipped and staffed for newborns through three year olds.
Our Nursery Attendants and other volunteers help staff the nursery on a
rotating basis providing everyone with an opportunity to attend services
and other classes. Our nursery director is Tina B. McCallum.
