Audio/Visual

We have Sound, Lighinting, Video, and Visual Technicians that help in many aspects of our services here at Kennewick Church of the Nazarene.  From setting up the visual aids, running sound for services (including worship, wedding, funeral, and other special services) to running video and creating DVDs of our services or creating and running lighting settings for our services, there are many tasks that contribute to the spiritual atmosphere creating a smooth service.  We are always looking for ways to involve those who are willing to use gifts and talents for the Lord.

Choir

Our choir runs during the regular school year.  Anyone who would like to come and make a joyful noise is accepted - no tryouts are held.  While many in our choir can read music proficiently there are those who do not, but still participate - reading music is not a requirement, but definitely a plus when joining choir.  The main reason we sing is to worship Jesus for whom He is, and for what He has done in our lives.  A heart of worship is a pre-requisite to joining the choir.  We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the main auditorium of the church.  Throughout the year we perform evangelistic musicals which do require extra commitment and have special rehearsal schedules that most are able to accomodate within even the busiest schedule.  All who are interested are welcome to come join us.

Praise Band/Praise Team/Special Music

Those who wish to minister to the congregation by joining a praise team, praise band, or by singing/playing a special musical selection, can call, email, or just see me after service up front.  I am usually there to speak with those who would like to know more about any of our opportunities within the Worship Ministries of our church.
